To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and minister healing and deliverance through the power of prayer.
The Vision
To train, equip, and prepare believers to operate in the power and authority of Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man. One true Godhead; The triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
For by grace we are saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8). The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:8-10)
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to every believer who asks. (Acts 2:4)
Our History
The Vision
January 2004, in a dream/vision the Lord took me to an open field, full of peas. The harvest was ready but my arms were too full to gather the crop at that time because I was carrying a baby in my arms (my grandbaby, Xavier), which hindered me from gathering the peas. God took me a little further and I saw another open field. There were people sitting and waiting to hear the word of God. There was a Podium in front of the people, but there was no preacher to teach the people. I turned and looked behind me and I saw the most beautiful fruit I had ever seen. The fruit grew in clusters. I stood in awe because I knew that it was impossible for man to grow this kind of fruit. I wrote it down.
God said (Hab. 2:2-3) Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
The History​
Higher Heights Prayer and Deliverance Ministry (HHPDM) held its first bible study on November 2, 2016 with eight people in attendance. Pastor Lewis taught “We are well able”. The bible study continued each week through December 16, 2016. We continued to seek the Lords direction, acknowledging him in all our ways. After much prayer and fasting the Lord released us to move forward with the vision.
On January 15, 2017 HHPDM held its first service at 9 Maplewood Avenue in Bloomfield, CT. Over the years the Lord has continuously blessed the ministry to be a blessing to others.

In 2024, the Lord called us to a new location at 41 E Wintonbury Avenue, Bloomfield. Ct.
We are praying that God will continue to strengthen us as we grow together in love and experience God at Higher Heights!
